What You’ll Be Doing:

At Free Soul, we don’t just develop supplements we create wellbeing solutions that empower women to feel their best, every day. As we continue to expand our portfolio, we’re looking for a sharp, curious, and passionate Junior NPD Technologist to join our growing team.

You’ll play a key role in transforming trends, insights, and ideas into best-in-class products from concept-to-launch.

• Analysing consumer trends, market data, sales performance, and competitor ranges to uncover new product opportunities.
• Translating insights into innovation proposals and supporting their commercial evaluation.
• Assisting in the formulation of new products with a focus on functionality, taste, nutrition, and EFSA-compliant claims.
• Managing product data and documentation, including internal system setup and supplier specs.
• Supporting trials across ingredients, formats, and packaging including consumer testing.
• Working closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and cross-functional teams to drive project timelines and ensure seamless launches.
• Acting as a point of contact for product and nutrition-related enquiries across internal and external stakeholders.
• Supporting Supply Chain in mitigating risks to continuity and ensuring materials and partners meet project needs.

What We’re Looking For:

You’re not just interested in product development you live and breathe wellness. You’re hungry to learn, ready to roll up your sleeves, and excited by the challenge of delivering high-quality products in a fast-moving environment.

• A degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
• Some experience (placement, internship, or first role) in the supplement industry.
• Strong understanding of nutrition, product formulation, and concept-to-launch processes.
• A sharp eye for detail when it comes to specs, ingredients, and compliance.
• A team player with excellent communication skills – able to translate technical topics into digestible ideas.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office, experience with product databases or ERP systems would be a bonus.
• Passionate about wellness, health, food, or fitness and excited to work on a brand with purpose.
